Household Crockery Project
Household Crockery
Al Salt
This project, which will be set up in refugee camps in Jordan, aims to revive the healthier kitchen traditions of using household (ceramic) crockery for cooking and preserving food. The project will set up a production unit in a civil society association in the targeted area. The production unit consists of a manual wheel, a spinning plate, an automatic wheel, a mixing machine, and a dryer that works on solar energy to save production costs. Four women will be trained to acquire production skills that will help them generate basic incomes to support their families.
Rewell Society launches its projects on proven concepts; they are simple and easy to set up; they build on local knowledge and skills and require little funding to start. Your donations will provide underprivileged Jordanian families the opportunity to generate income and expand their skills.
