In cooperation with farms, we agreed to set up a project where a family would collect discarded crops from farmers to produce organic compost fertilizers. These organic leftovers will be fermented in pits at each of these cooperative farms, then packaged and sold in local markets. The small projects employ women who support families. We expect to develop this concept in 10 farms. Women will be trained on handling these projects to help generate basic income for their families.
