Thyme Leaves

Ein Al Basha, Baqa Refugee Camp

Demand for thyme (Zaater) in Jordan is high throughout the year. The donations will see our project managers help purchase bulk thyme for poor families, who would in turn process the crop and sell it in Jordanian markets. The project can be sponsored by one person or an association, where 10 to 15 women and their families in the Jordan Valley area would be selected to participate. These women will be allocated JD300 each for buying bulk thyme. The project will be given the name of the donor.

Rewell Society launches its projects on proven concepts; they are simple and easy to set up; they build on local knowledge and skills and require little funding to start. Your donations will provide underprivileged Jordanian families the opportunity to generate income and expand their skills.
